How to Crack C-CAT examination
INTRODUCTION
The
C-DAC Common Admission Exam (C-CAT), which is administered in computerized
manner at C-DAC test centres, is used for admission to all PG Diploma
programmes for every six months. Candidates must submit an online C-CAT
application at www.cdac.in or acts.cdac.in. On the basis of their C-CAT
rankings and preferred centers/courses, candidates who pass the C-CAT will only
be eligible for admission to the best cdac institute for Diploma courses of cohort.
WHAT IS CCAT?
It
is qualifying examination consisting of Section A and Section B for maximum
course and Section C for few additional courses, for entry to PG Diploma course
of CDAC. Each Section will have 50
objective-type questions worth 3 marks (maximum 150 marks for any one section). In
the C-CAT, there will be four possible solutions for each objective-type
question, but only one of them will be the right one. Each accurate response
will receive +3 (plus three) points, while each incorrect response will receive
-1 (minus one). Multiple responses to a question will all be viewed as
incorrect responses. There will be no credit given for any questions that are
not attempted.

English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Critical Reasoning
Section-B:
Operating Systems, Data Communications & Networks, Data Structures, C
Programming, and Section-A Computer Fundamentals
Section-C:
Digital electronics, microprocessors, and computer architecture
Students
with below qualification can apply

Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT / Computer Science /
Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.
OR
-
MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics.
In
addition to the common eligibility criteria given above, candidates with the
course-specific qualification are ALSO ELIGIBLE for the particular courses. Minimum
percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is also stated. The
minimum percentage of marks will be considered as per the norms of the
university from where the candidate has graduated.
How to Prepare For CDACC-CAT?
Before you
consider how to get ready for the CDAC C-CAT in 2023? Start making notes of
